Update from Doc

You might've noticed I've been 'away' from WT for awhile...but I've had some pretty good reasons. Between being busy with my normal work, I've been getting our veggie garden launched, which is a lot of work - but it's fun,  and it's getting my doughy butt back in shape!

But also, I've been working hard on the new WT site again, and it's juuuuust about ready as far as I can tell.
The last step is to get 2-3 people (or more if interested) to try out the new site for me, post their stuff, use the calendar and the chat and all the new features, put yourself in the new and VASTLY improved Entertainment Guide, and let me know what could be improved.  I don't wanna  make a change if it's not a change in the right direction.

SO, is anyone interested in beta-testing the new site?
Let me know and I'll get you the address and a login.
Once we work out the kinks, it should be ready to launch within weeks!

With your help, we're gonna show the world what an entertainment guide site is -supposed- to be!

Due to overwhelming response, it might take some time before I can answer all the requests for beta-test access.

I'll help if you'd like.  I'm busy with baseball and Poke Salad Festival planning right now, but I do appreciate what you do and would be glad to help in your testing of the new site.

I would offer myself as a 'beta tester' it's just that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed on that sort of thing....as you well know. 
I would be willing to test drive it, just don't blame me if it breaks.

Truth is, you two were on my short-list of people I'd like to have test it, because you use our calendar alot, and folks who use it alot know what they need from it.

Honestly, I don't want IT professionals or super-savvy folks to test it, because they don't see things from an end-user's perspective, or better, a NEW user's perspective.
This site is for musicians, not techies. 

I'll send you both PMs with login/password info. Just post whatever you like, try it out, add fake stuff, whatever.
It'll all be overwritten before launch with the info from here anyway.
