Deidre Takes First Place in the Sing and Slam @ Artspace!!!

Deidre was absolutely outstanding at the "Sing and Slam" last night at Artspace.  She chose a song from Barbra Streisand that not many people could even begin to attempt, nailed it, blew the judges and the audience away, and left with the First Prize trophy.  It makes me so proud to say, "That's my partner.  We've been working together for 3 years now."  And, she's my very best friend in this town.  Congratulations, Deidre!!!  You earned it fair and square.

Thanks, Trepid.  I wasn't on stage with her for this.  I did make the soundtrack for her to sing with, but that was not why she won.  This night it was all her.
